The next support team to be finished for the Operation Winter Storm project are some German snipers.
The miniatures are from Battlefront.
I'm not really that fond of diorama type bases, but here I took the opportunity to indulge in some light modelling as I thought it would suit the miniatures.
Next we're gearing up for the heavier stuff!
I think this sort of diorama works perfectly for snipers, command stands etc. Great job once again.
ReplyDeleteCheers Steve! I agree about the diorama type bases for commanders etc.
DeleteNicely done, love the details on the base...
ReplyDeleteThank you very much indeed Phil!
DeleteHello Major König! That is a great addition to your force. I agree, dioramas are very specific and don't work well for generic troops but for specialists like this they are perfect. Nice work Jonas!
ReplyDeleteThanks Paul! I agree, diorama type bases works for some "specialists", like snipers and commanders.
DeleteI think the basing for these chaps looks wonderful, great job Jonas.
ReplyDeleteCheers Michael, much appreciated!
DeleteAnother lovely addition to your force Jonas!

Thanks Christopher!
DeleteNice one. Good work on basing and models alike!
ReplyDeleteThank you Nate!
DeleteNice addition! I agree that more generic bases are to be preferred in general but this is a good exception. /Mattias
ReplyDeleteThanks Mattias!
DeleteExellent work matey!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michael, much appreciated!
DeleteI think the brick wall was an excellent choice, and it fits very well with Winter Storm and a Stalingrad city scenario!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sören! You've read my mind it seems ... ;)
DeleteAbsolutely wonderful work Jonas!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Rodger!
DeleteGreat looking snipers! And while I get your Statement about Diorama bases I think there's almost nothing more suited to such a kind of base than a sniper team.
